The AdobeStock organization is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to help build and evolve our Web Platform (stock.adobe.com). AdobeStock provides, designers and businesses with access to over 700 million high-quality, curated, royalty-free photos, vectors, illustrations, templates, audio, video, genAI and 3D assets, for all their creative projects. The Adobe Stock is built right into Adobe desktop apps to search, browse, and add images to Creative Cloud Libraries, and get instant access to assets across desktop and mobile devices. Keys to your success

  • 5+ years of proven experience developing consumer facing web applications
  • B.S. in Computer Science, or a related field of study
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and comfortable with ES6, React, Redux, Express, & Webpack
  • Experience building microservices in PHP and/or Node.js
  • Expertise in Front end development with both HTML & CSS (SCSS, bootstrap3, OOCSS, BEM)
  • Knowledge of how to apply computer science principles like algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and data flow and storage
  • Strong familiarity with SOLID design and object oriented programming
  • Love to learn new things, work hard and have fun

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining highly available applications
  • Experience with security standards (e.g. SQL injection, XSS and other exploits)
  • Experience with quality driven development and tools, writing your own unit tests and integration tests
  • Experience with Agile development processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
