How can you participate?

In pursuit of this ambitious venture, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, lead and help in re-architecting this extensive infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on person with strong technical, especially with deep understanding of GPU & CPU architecture, handling large distributed systems & inference clusters and interpersonal skills. Someone with a consistent record of implementing well architecture frameworks on cloud, automating and optimizing large-scale cloud infrastructure for efficient and reliable DevOps, good understanding of ML/AI processing will be best suited.

Responsibilities:

  • Work at the intersection of engineering and operations of SDC products at Adobe with automation in mind.
  • Handle Large Inference clusters, engage with architects and engineers in launching GenAI and ML Services throughout life cycle end to end, thus democratizing MLOps & DevOps culture.
  • Work on large scale stateful and stateless distributed systems, container RunTime systems such as Kubernetes and wide range of diverse services including search infrastructure, real-time messaging & data ingestion platforms, SQL & no-SQL databases, web services & orchestration services and more.
  • Automate the SLC processes by building and supporting software modules, scripts, deployment frameworks, tracers, monitors, and self-healing/auto remediation tools
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on deployments, processes, and standard operating procedures/runbooks
  • Explore and research new and emerging ML and AIOps technologies and bring them to Adobe SDC World to cater for Adobe's global needs. This role is not looking for candidates that have worked purely on release or DevOps engineering.

What you need to succeed

  • B.S. in Engineering
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in industry
  • Good understanding of OS, distributed systems
  • Experience with designing, building architecture, systems engineering of large-scale deployments, comprising of different components.
  • Experience in building, deploying and handling infrastructures in public clouds (AWS, Azure) or virtualization technologies.
  • System design and administration in Linux production environments. Experience with Linux, GPUs, Internet Protocols, and Large-Scale Operations is highly sought.
  • Exposure to container runtime environments
  • Exposure to running, scale any NO-SQL technologies like Elastic Search, Kafka, HBase, AWS SQS, Apache Spark etc.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, perforce etc.
  • Excellent programming (Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell/Java) and automation skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
