Adobe is seeking a Financial Analyst with strong modeling and communication skills to help drive outsized growth for Adobe’s AI first products! This position will engage cross-functionally to enable and influence key decision making across the product, engineering, and go-to-market organizations. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Experience Enterprise finance team to accelerate topline growth, support continued innovation, and influence decision making within Adobe’s strategic priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to drive long-term strategic and operational planning with the goal of optimizing AI First product revenue growth and margin profile. Own analysis across 3-year modeling, annual planning, and in year performance tracking to Plan.
- Support business case modeling with in-depth, data driven analysis and provide guidance on business impact for critical initiatives. Develop models and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry while maintaining a clear view of strategic priorities and execution rigor in the exploration of new opportunities.
- Own deep inspection of the business across both topline and expense: Scale financial ‘run the business’ reporting, trends, and critical metrics to measure business health. Provide insights into the 'why', recommendations, and story behind the business performance, risks, & opportunities.
- Drive scale, automation, and collaboration within your team and cross-functionally while leveraging groundbreaking generative AI tools. We are committed to establishing best-in-class cadences and driving efficiency and impact across the business.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Previous experience supporting topline and expense for a subscription/SaaS products; or strong finance education with willingness to learn.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, connects across products and teams, and develops strategies and ways of approaching business challenges. Problem solver who can challenge the status quo and drive new ways of thinking across the organization.
- Passion for learning! We influence and seek top talent to help us reach our goals.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential and experience in PowerBI and Tableau are preferred; advanced programming (SQL, Python, R, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in articulating key business insights and financial implications, as well as possessing effective interpersonal abilities to influence and drive decision-making across diverse functional groups.
- Strong ability to handle several projects at a time in a fast-paced environment and bring structure to ambiguous business challenges.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
- 1 – 3 years of FP&A (or related) experience required
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
