The Digital Video/Audio org is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Developer to join us in building the next generation of video editing tools on the web. You’ll work on core features, solve challenging problems, and help to deliver “Adobe magic” to our customers.
What you’ll do
We are a team who will delivers creative, high quality, and robust features in a fast moving , Agile development environment.
All the members of our team work closely with Quality Engineers, other Developers, Product Management, Program Management, and User Experience Designers to implement features for our web based video editing app.
Additionally, there will be many opportunities to engage directly with our passionate and creative customers and help to shape the design and functionality of new features. Our app is part of the broader Digital Video & Audio (DVA) and Creative Cloud families. Many of our projects cross wide organization boundaries and you’ll gain experience working across teams.
Expect to develop incredible features, write automation tests, perform code reviews, and be supported and encouraged by a passionate team who loves to have fun while building amazing technology.
A successful candidate will be a strong technical leader on this team. You'll make use of your excellent social skills to effectively communicate ideas and influence others. You will own features, provide creative solutions, and have opportunities to take ownership and influence product direction. You'll write performant, high-quality code and own development for complex features providing accountability and ownership for everything you do.

What you need to succeed
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Familiarity with CSS and HTML
Familiarity with Single-Page Web Applications
Familiarity with Declarative User Interface (UI) libraries (such as React.JS, Svelt, Vue.js)
Excitement for video editing and developing tools for creators
Beneficial skills
Experience creating web apps
Experience with and excitement for creating and posting video content on social media platforms
Working knowledge of concepts specific to development for video and compositing tools
Experience working in an Agile development environment
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
