Creators are Adobe’s next growth engine and together this newly-formed team is re-imagining how millions ideate, edit, and share content. As the senior product marketing leader for market research & insights, you will uncover the truths that shape product bets, marketing strategy, and innovation across our Creator portfolio of AI, Video, Photo/Imaging, and future creator products. Reporting to the VP of Creators, you’ll build a nimble, high-impact team, set a rigorous mixed-methodology agenda, and turn signal into strategy for executives, PMMs, and product leaders.
What You’ll Do
Insight Agenda & Rigor – Own the end-to-end research roadmap: qual, quant, competitive, and customer segmentation. Design studies that eliminate bias and surface impactful insights.
Customer & Market Intelligence – Map creator segments, workflows, and unmet needs; monitor category shifts and competitive moves to keep Adobe ahead of the curve.
Decision ready story-telling - Translate data into clear narratives that influence product roadmaps, pricing, GTM, and AI priorities; present to senior leaders and cross functional partners.
Team & Craft Leadership – Recruit, mentor, and motivate a small distributed team of senior researchers; instill methodological excellence and a bias for action.
Cross-Functional Impact – Partner daily with PMM, Analytics, Data Science, User research and Design to embed insight into every decision and launch.
What you'll need to succeed
Truth-Seeking Researcher – Fluent in survey design, advanced analytics, ethnography, and emerging methods; identifies real signal, fast.
Strategic Influencer – Aligns execs, frames trade-offs, and turns findings into roadmap commitments and marketing strategies.
Data & Design Expert in problem solving – Equally skilled in data analysis and focus groups; integrates quantitative depth with human storytelling.
Builder & Mentor – Creates high-trust teams, levels up craft, and scales processes that endure.
Improving Catalyst – Comfortable operating in uncharted territory, pushing methodological innovation, and setting a higher standard for customer empathy.
Minimum Qualifications
• 15+ years in research, insights, or data science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years leading high-performing teams.
• Mastery of both quantitative (stat modeling, conjoint, segmentation) and qualitative (1:1, diary, ethnographic) techniques.
• Track record influencing product strategy in consumer tech, media tech, or creator-focused businesses.
• BS/MS or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Psychology, Data Science, Marketing).
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
