Are you passionate about building scalable, high-performance cloud-native services? At Adobe Romania, we’re engineering the backbone of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service—a composable content platform that powers personalized experiences across every channel.

We’re looking for talented software engineers to join our AEM team in Bucharest. You’ll work on foundational services that enable agility, reliability, and innovation for some of the world’s most visited digital properties, including Adobe.com and Business.adobe.com.

Whether you’re a frontend developer with React expertise or a backend engineer skilled in Python, JavaScript, or Java, we want to hear from you.

Front-End Required Qualifications
  • Frontend: Proficiency in React, including hooks, component lifecycle, and modern React patterns
  • Understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ features
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, REST APIs, JSON
  • Huge appetite to use AI assisted tools and coding agents
  • Being open to fast iterations by working directly with customer or users to validate product hypothesis
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
  • AI Agents: Experience or interest in working with AI agents, autonomous systems, or AI-powered applications
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP): Familiarity with MCP for AI model communication and context management
  • Familiarity with UI component libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI)
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

BackEnd Required Qualifications
  • Backend: experience with either Node.js or Python (frameworks like Express.js, FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
  • Understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript (for Node.js) or Python fundamentals
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, REST APIs, JSON
  • Huge appetite to use AI assisted tools and coding agents
  • Being open to fast iterations by working directly with customer or users to validate product hypothesis
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
  • AI Agents: Experience or interest in working with AI agents, autonomous systems, or AI-powered applications
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP): Familiarity with MCP for AI model communication and context management
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
