Adobe is seeking a dedicated Software Development Engineer to join our ambitious team in Lehi. This is an outstanding opportunity to build the next-generation Web Application APIs for Adobe Analytics, our industry-leading analytics platform. With over 20 billion transactions processed daily, you'll contribute to delivering world-class reporting data through sophisticated data visualization interfaces. We participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, and maintenance of our products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust web service APIs within our data retrieval platform.
- Gather technical requirements from multiple sources to improve existing strategies for visualizing and displaying data.
- Tackle complex business and technical problems involving large-scale data aggregation and processing.
Collaborate with AI and platform teams to ensure backend services are optimized for consumption by AI agents, operators, and MCP workflows.
Continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML and automation trends and apply when appropriate.
Requirements
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration.
- Detailed and approach focused.
- Experience in developing RESTful services.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming with languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, or PHP.
- Knowledge of database programming, including MongoDB and SQL databases.
- Experience with Cloud technologies and services such as AWS and Azure is a plus.
Familiarity or experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) server architecture or microservice design for agent/AI integration.
Curiosity and self-motivation to learn, adapt, and grow with evolving software development practices and AI capabilities.
Bonus: Experience or interest in agentic systems or LLM integration.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
