Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Adobe AEM Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AEM architecture, component development, integrations, and team leadership. This role will lead developers and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and project managers to deliver scalable, high-performing digital experience solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of AEM-based solutions (Sites, Assets, Forms, Communities).

Provide technical leadership to AEM developers and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks.

Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions.

Develop custom components, templates, workflows, servlets, OSGi services, and integrations within AEM.

Manage AEM upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.

Integrate AEM with Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Target, Analytics, and third-party systems (CRM, DAM, ERP, eCommerce).

Perform code reviews, quality assurance, and deployment support.

Mentor and guide team members, fostering skill development and Agile delivery.

Support DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for AEM deployments in cloud or on-premise environments.

Ensure compliance with security standards, accessibility, and SEO best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

7–10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with 5+ years in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x/Cloud Service).

Strong expertise in AEM architecture, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, and HTL/Sightly.

Hands-on experience with custom component development, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.

Solid understanding of AEM Assets, Sites, Forms, and Content Fragments.

Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular is a plus).

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.

Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Manager).

Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and cloud platforms (Adobe I/O, AWS, Azure, GCP).

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Architect / Lead Developer.

Experience in Adobe Marketing Cloud integrations (Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign).

Knowledge of personalization and headless CMS delivery models.

Prior experience leading offshore/onsite delivery teams.
