Senior Product Manager, Developer Platforms
Adobe Software
JOB LEVEL
P40EMPLOYEE ROLE
Individual ContributorThe Opportunity:
Adobe's developers are eager to build AI tools and integrations, but there's no coordinated way to discover, contribute to, or reuse what others have built. Our AI Foundations team is creating the ecosystem to change that!
We're looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join us in orchestrating Adobe's internal AI tooling community. Together, we'll connect developers with corporate IT services and guide both grassroots contributions and company-wide integrations!
What We'll Do Together:
We'll orchestrate Adobe's AI tooling ecosystem by managing community contributions, setting technical roadmaps, and maintaining a prioritized backlog of integrations. We'll partner with teams across Adobe who want to build AI tools, providing guidance and standards to maximize reuse and minimize duplication.
We'll define technical standards for AI tool development and manage relationships with IT organizations to understand API capabilities and integration possibilities.
We'll track our success by measuring active contributors, tool adoption rates, and developer satisfaction. We'll turn company goals into clear technical plans while balancing security, compliance, and developer productivity needs.
You're a Great Fit If You
- Have 5+ years managing developer ecosystems/platforms, ideally in SDK adoption, open-source communities, or internal platform initiatives
- Are technically fluent in enterprise integration patterns, API design, and developer platform architectures, with experience evaluating technical contributions
- Have background in AI product management, understanding LLM capabilities and integration patterns that inform AI tooling priorities
- Are developer-obsessed: you've built platforms for technical users and excel at making complex systems accessible to developer communities
- Can lead ecosystem initiatives end-to-end—from defining technical standards to managing roadmaps, coordinating with IT teams, and scaling community adoption
- Focus on results, not just activity - you can measure what matters: community growth, contribution velocity, and tool adoption
- Have proven experience managing technical communities—setting standards, reviewing proposals, and maintaining quality while encouraging innovation
- Can work across teams without being their boss, balance competing priorities, and grow the ecosystem in measurable ways
- Embrace ambiguity and growth - this is a rapidly evolving space where your focus will expand to meet emerging AI tooling needs across the organization
