DESCRIPTION

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs, a division at Amazon Web Services (AWS), develops innovative hardware and software for AWS cloud infrastructure.

The SIP team is an integral part of Annapurna Labs’ chip development team, responsible for the electrical validation of SoC interfaces and in-depth electrical characterization of both internal and external hardware-related IPs.

This role demands a deep understanding of interfaces, protocols, and circuit design, along with hands-on lab work, advanced testing and measurement techniques, and software development for debugging and control.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our SoC Electrical Validation team and contribute to this critical activity.

Key job responsibilities
• Perform electrical validation and characterization at both the chip and package levels.
• Implement and refine test methodologies for high-speed interfaces.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust interface validation and signal integrity.
• Develop software reference code and standalone GUI tools for IP control, debugging, and troubleshooting.
