Our mission in this pillar is to help Brands drive discoverability, credibility and conversion on valuable new selection and thereby, deliver great shopping experience for our Customers.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager, Technical (PMT) to lead Amazon's worldwide charter on New Selection Conversion. This high-visibility role will drive end-to-end success of new products launched by our Brands by building simple yet intelligent solutions that help Brands optimize their new selection for conversion success. You will identify key conversion barriers and unlock Brand value through intuitive tools, actionable insights, and automated solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
(1) Owning the companywide new selection conversion KPI and success metrics, (2) Conducting rigorous Brand research to identify conversion barriers and opportunities, (3) Developing multi-year vision and detailed Y1 launch roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders, (4) Designing and prioritizing features that simplify the Brand experience while maximizing conversion potential - either through direct building or influencing partner teams based on strategic alignment, (5) Collaborating with science, data and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions, (6) Driving rapid experimentation to test and iterate on solutions, including supporting partner teams in their pilot designs, (7) Building mechanisms to monitor adoption and impact, and (8) Managing program expansion and evolution globally
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong Customer obsession and has experience building intuitive tools that deliver significant business impact. You should be comfortable working with technical solutions including ML, thrive in high-visibility roles, excel at building mechanisms from the ground up, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You must combine sound business judgment with strategic thinking and strong execution capabilities, while demonstrating an ability to influence without authority. This role offers high ownership, Amazon-wide impact, extensive senior leadership exposure, diverse responsibilities and tremendous growth potential.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- MBA
- Experience with technologies like Hadoop, Rules based systems and Machine learning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
