Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. To be successful you need to be a talented Integration Developer willing to learn how to build solutions with new software applications such as SAP and BTP Integration Suite (IS). You need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while collaborating with other functional owners, customers and team members to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of evolving requirements.



Key job responsibilities
* Design and review integration architecture for SAP ERP applications
* Develop complex integrations with internal systems and external (non Amazon) systems working with external technical teams
* Lead and implement integration best practices, procedures, and policies for integration patterns
* Production support for integration failures and triage needs
* Design and configure strong integration error handling and alert mechanisms
* Work with Kuiper security, Kuiper infrastructure and other teams to get integration architecture reviewed
* Review deliverables and provide final approvals for architecture design and production deployments
* Interface with functional, technical teams to finalize field mapping, integration tests and user acceptance
* Stay current with new ERP / SAP / AWS integration technology developments and techniques, research new software and tools, proactively recommend improvements

A day in the life
Integration developers typically start their day with team communication and planning through stand-up meetings, followed by core development work. Their work involves code reviews, testing, deployments, and team meetings, while actively utilizing tools like SAP BTP Cockpit, Git repositories, and SAP Integration Suite. Throughout the day, they focus on designing and implementing integration scenarios between different systems, developing cloud applications, debugging integration flows, monitoring interfaces, and collaborating with team members to deliver robust business solutions.

About the team
Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) Business Systems team is responsible for a suite of products to automate and optimize business operations for Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS). This is anchored in business process modeling and configuring SAP ERP’s enterprise capabilities to streamline and optimize critical business processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), and Make-to-Order (MTO). The team also owns Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Pricing systems. The solutions are built to comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 4+ years of SAP experience with 3 or more years of middleware software systems - SAP CPI, SAP PO
* Experience integrating multiple Cloud systems
* ABAP Proxies, Alert Monitoring, ALE Configuration, RFC, Idoc, JMS adapters, SOAP, REST, Web Services, Odata Services
* 2+ years of SAP ABAP development experience - Odata services, CDS views

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience with EDI integrations for Supply Chain
* Experience with external (Supplier, Vendor, Broker) systems, with experience interacting with technical teams, coming up with finalized architecture, architecture security review
* Awareness of Integration concepts and work on AWS integration options
* Experience with SAP BTP based integrations
