Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Compliance Analyst to drive compliance solutions and strategic projects in support of AWS Infrastructure. As part of the Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC) function, you will leverage your IT product compliance knowledge to support day-to-day compliance operations while focusing on scaling compliance programs through innovation, simplification, and automation.
Key job responsibilities
* Build and implement systems and processes to align AWS products and equipment to regulatory requirements
* Identify and analyze compliance requirements and related artifacts globally for impact
* Translate regulatory intelligence to business operations
* Drive and scale infrastructure product compliance programs and tools
* Identify and recommend opportunities for simplification and automation
* Manage daily compliance operations using custom software
* Handle product compliance escalations with quick, high-judgment decisions
* Procure, analyze, and report on operational metrics
* Develop and oversee change management and continuous process improvement
* Classify AWS's unique hardware, devices, and equipment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 7+ years working in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related field
• Experience with global market access regulations for IT safety, including certifications and standards like CB Scheme, CE marking, UL/CSA, CCC, and similar international requirements
• Experience managing technical compliance documentation and test reports for IT equipment
• Experience with compliance automation and tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with cloud infrastructure compliance
• Experience with cybersecurity regulations for IT hardware, including EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) cybersecurity requirements, ETSI EN 303 645, and related standards
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and market access requirements
• Background in technology compliance and product safety
• Experience with compliance automation tools
• Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity regulations affecting IT hardware in key markets
• Experience working with testing laboratories and certification bodies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
