We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer to lead the charge in building the future of our global customer service. You'll be designing and crafting innovative systems that empower our teams worldwide to deliver world-class service at lightning speed. As the key technical stakeholder, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers and end-users to define the vision for these game-changing tools. Key job responsibilities
- Influence product strategy through feature definition and system architecture design.
- Establish and champion engineering best practices for quality assurance.
- Set strong technical foundations for future product phases.
- Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business and technical partners.
- Solve complex system software challenges.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to software development.

A day in the life
The bulk of an average day is centered around designing and building features to enhance existing applications. The other elements of a typical day include:
a) Working on ad-hoc requests and bug fixes
b) Participating in document reviews with product managers and stakeholders
c) Supporting and delegating tickets while on-call
d) Team meetings and presentations/learning sessions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
