We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to play a critical role in Prime Video, as a finance partner for the Prime Video and Amazon Originals Marketing teams. The role will support multiple senior marketing business leaders, with broad scope and autonomy. The role will involve working closely with creative teams to support efficiently building best-in-class entertainment marketing campaigns. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally and develop new solutions as the business continues to grow. It's a finance opportunity that requires close business partnership on strategy, operations and budgeting. The right individual will have exceptional finance skills, strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles, solid analytical skills, firm business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results, and an ability to influence and earn trust will senior leaders.

Key job responsibilities
As a business and financial planning partner, you will:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts with stakeholders
- Analyze and evaluate projects, optimizing investments and reducing costs
- Collaborate with marketing to deliver cost-effective campaigns
- Support in-house creative team development and A.I. tool implementation
- Drive innovation while maintaining cost efficiency
- Design and maintain systems to enhance marketing spend control
- Provide strategic analysis and problem-solving support as needed
About the team
The Prime Video & Amazon Originals Marketing Finance team provides financial, operational and strategic support to the full range of marketing functions for the Prime Video, Amazon Original and Sports marketing teams. We work closely with our partners and stakeholders to achieve our joint goals. We pride ourselves on being extremely knowledgeable about the business operations and strategy, as well as experts in the business financials. Controllership and fiscal responsibility remain job one.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
