Amazon Demand Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to enhance our deep learning modeling capabilities to drive performance for advertisers. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling AI/ML solutions for real-time bidding systems that demand high availability and low latency. You will work closely with applied scientists and engineers to develop and maintain scalable software solutions that support large-scale deep learning models in ad serving systems. These systems leverage vast volumes of advertising data for state-of-the-art model training. You’ll also contribute to the long-term architectural vision and collaborate with product managers to deliver production-grade solutions. Ideal candidates will have strong technical expertise, a proven track record of building reliable software, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency systems, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Leverage problem-solving abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, think strategically, and simplify complex challenges.
- Work closely with teams across Amazon to integrate and optimize existing advertising products, leveraging the company's scale and reach.
- Apply technical expertise, excellent organizational and communication skills to tackle ambiguous, high-impact problems, demonstrating ingenuity and motivation to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other software development engineers on the team.
- Ensure a high standard of quality by conducting design reviews, implementing robust engineering practices, and driving automated testing and code coverage.
