Amazon is seeking a high performing Senior Finance Analyst to partner with Fulfilment Optimization and Network Configuration.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be partnering across Business units to optimize how we fulfil customer orders end-to-end at EU level, through network configuration and system objective functions. You will own the financial frameworks to optimize volume flows and asset utilization, from suppliers to customers, navigating through complex trade-offs between cost and capacity across the supply-chain, and customer experience. You will directly influence business decisions to improve system decisions and reduce Amazon Cost-to-Serve.

You will answer business questions by leveraging your passion about working with data sets and your experience in creation and management of huge datasets. You will work in a self-directed environment, own your tasks and drive them through completion.

This is an exciting role for a Senior Finance Analyst who enjoys analytics and is keen to influence business strategy.

Key job responsibilities
• Building scalable mechanisms to drive efficient network configuration and accurate system inputs that optimize customer order fulfilment end-to-end
• Leading financial analysis and due diligence to assess network configuration and provide improvement recommendations, reducing Amazon cost-to-serve
• Engaging with partner teams to develop financial frameworks and system objectives based on complex trade-offs between cost, speed, customer experience
• Communicating financial impact of configuration changes throughout the year to senior leaders
• Bringing huge datasets together to answer business questions, leveraging your deep expertise in creation and management of datasets
• Working in a self-directed environment, owning tasks and driving them to completion. You are detail-oriented and have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems
