Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) is a customer service organization dedicated to supporting these segments through scalable, intelligent, and data-driven solutions.
The SDS organization is seeking a skilled and driven Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join our Analytics team. Data analysis and automation are at the core of Amazon’s culture, and your work will directly influence decisions and strategy. In this role, you will deliver insights, build AI-powered solutions and self-service tools, and develop data products that support strategic decision-making, accelerate innovation, and enhance Amazon’s customer support experience. You will have access to rich datasets across Amazon and will work with advanced analytics and machine learning platforms to drive operational improvements and customer-centric innovation.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical foundation in data analytics, experience with AI tools and frameworks, sharp business acumen, and a high sense of ownership. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complex concepts clearly in non-technical terms, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams in designing scalable solutions that deliver measurable value for Amazon’s global customers.
Key job responsibilities

- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting, analysis, and research (data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation).
- Design and conduct experiments on the effectiveness and efficiency of different initiatives to improve key output metrics and help shape the long-term strategy.
- Be able to effectively communicate findings and build reporting for an audience with limited technical background.
