We are hiring for a Sr. Technical Program Manager, Data Platform to drive the evolution of Amazon's data services and insights. You will manage the Data Platform that enables Amazon builder teams and Amazon's selling partners to get analytics, reporting and insights to audit their business growth and profitability, and make data-driven decisions to improve their business. You will be responsible for leading the cross-functional and cross-org product development lifecycle for data services and APIs used by multiple Amazon builder teams, selling partners (vendors and sellers), and third-party developers to surface data and insights while ensuring ease of use, and robust integration capabilities. This role has direct impact on thousands of Amazonians and hundreds of thousands of selling partners globally and the tools they use to grow their businesses.

The Sr. Technical Program Manager will be fluent in a range of strategic and analytical approaches to product and technical leadership, including the ability to influence stakeholders, and provide clarity on complex systems and dynamics via rigorously refined written and verbal communication.
A successful candidate will

- Define the execution strategy, and influence the feature design and technical approach to deliver on the product vision.
- Be able to manage multiple projects - including planning, prioritization, and task delegation. Work closely with developers through product launch.
- Be able to identify customer requirements by considering data, customer feedback, and user research
- Work closely with stakeholders across multiple organizations to understand their business strategies and help drive project exectuion
- Work with builder teams and third-party developers building user experiences to understand the needs to end user and drive platform requirements
- Responsible for execution of product roadmaps and influence technology and business direction.
- Communicate complex product concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the multi-year vision and technical approach for your product portfolio and the team
- Lead strategic planning to achieve technical and business goals Contribute to Amazon business documents.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle and deliver long-lasting solutions. Influence priorities and business strategy through quantitative and qualitative contributions.
- Drive technical vision and architecture decisions for platform APIs, working closely with engineering teams to define specifications, and ensure scalable, performant solutions while managing backwards compatibility and technical debt
- Manage the end-to-end developer journey, including documentation strategy, SDK design, and developer tooling, with focus on reducing integration friction and improving time-to-value for platform adopters
- Manage platform strategy and execution, including feature prioritization, release planning, adoption metrics, and stakeholder alignment, while ensuring platform health, security compliance, and successful delivery of platform capabilities to internal and external consumers
About the team
This role is on the Chronicle team within Selling Partner Services. We own Ripple, a centralized Curated Data Layer (CDL) and Analytics API that enables easy access to business metrics across domains, and Data Pipelines, an ETL layer that ingests, transforms, standardizes, and aggregates multiple PB+ of data from hundreds of upstream sources.
We are a full stack team, with Technical Product Managers, Software and Data Engineers. Our team is split between New York, Seattle, and Chennai.
