Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. As a System Development Engineer at Project Kuiper you will build and maintain systems and software that support the Manufacturing Integrated Satellite Test value stream. You will utilize innovative solutions and leading-edge technology to solve difficult problems on a daily basis, at both a systems and specialized level. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, engineering, and quality to streamline production on the assembly lines through the use of custom software systems. You will provide insights to those teams as well based on the data derived from your systems and enable those teams to derive insights of their own.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain software systems in support of manufacturing test
- Develop software packages to enable manufacturing engineers to automate processes
- Collaborate on critical reporting to drive production improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis and developing evidence-based solutions
- Apply disciplined measurement and statistical methods to verify software
- Develop and maintain robust testing infrastructure and verification processes
