The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations (SMGS Ops) AWS Field Experience (AFX) Planning Tools team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Front End Engineer (FEE) to build solutions that make it simpler for our field team to manage and operate at scale. As a FEE on the AFX - Planning Tools team, you’ll contribute to defining and building the world class UX in Salesforce and Planning Tools built on AWS services for the AWS Sales organization. In addition to working on the latest AWS and Salesforce technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. You’ll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field, and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do.



SMGS Ops is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
* Having significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.
* Responsible for solving algorithmically complex problems; building services that can scale to millions of requests and deployed globally delivering an exceptional customer experience.
* Building systems that will impact millions of customers and create multi-million dollar revenue opportunities, ship in just a couple of weeks and instantly measure the dollar value of what you have developed.
* Using advanced technologies and AI to infer various datasources and signals to provide most relevant suggestions to our customers and to improve the discovery of items.
* Working with a group of top-notch software developers and data engineers, seasoned product and program managers, and creative visual designers who form a great team to raise the bar on the customer experience.
