Amazon Pay India's mission is to be India's most convenient, rewarding, and trusted payment platform. We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Transit & Mobility vertical, with the ambitious goal of making Amazon Pay the one-stop destination for all transit-related payments in India.
Key Mandates:
Metro Transit Leadership:
Own the vision and execution to onboard all major metro systems in India onto Amazon Pay
Build deep integrations with metro authorities for seamless ticket booking and QR-based entry
Create subscription products for regular commuters (weekly/monthly passes)
Develop cross-city interoperable solutions for frequent travelers
Target: Achieve comprehensive metro coverage across all operational cities in India
FASTag Excellence:
Scale Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag to top 5 position nationally
Build and optimize offline distribution networks with ICICI Bank
Create specialized solutions for commercial fleet operators
Achieve 5% market share in FASTag recharges
Key job responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Product Development:
Design unified transit dashboard for users to manage all transit payments
Innovate to scale offline distribution channels for Amazon Pay Fastag
Build best-in-class success rates for all transit-related transactions
Develop automated recharge and payment capabilities across services
Business Development:
Lead partnerships with metro authorities, state transport departments, and NETC
Negotiate commercial terms and integration specifications
Work with government stakeholders for policy alignment
Create sustainable revenue models across transit offerings
A day in the life
A typical day will contain a mixture of all the following
• A daily health review of all your key business metrics and diving deep into any of them if you observe an anomaly
• Working in partnerships with User experience, technology and category teams to build out customer facing experiences, product requirement documents, debating phases and creating a robust go-to-market plan
• All the while, while reviewing NPS scores, voice of customers, come up with new ideas and build product strategy for upcoming months in partnerships with billers and regulator
