DESCRIPTION

Trust Sensitive Content &Intelligence team leverages natural language understanding, machine learning, and big data to help Amazon Devices identify sensitive content. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who raise the quality bar and ensure that customers continue to have fun engaging conversation with Amazon Devices.

We are a highly collaborative, fast moving, and fun team. As a member of the team you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new Alexa+ and other Devices GenAI features. You will have opportunities to influence and drive the system architecture, mentor other engineers, and establish best practices that ensure a high-quality product.

Candidate don’t need to have expertise in natural language understanding or machine learning but should have curiosity about it. They value collaboration, data-driven decision making, learning, and can comfortably communicate with others, in both technical and non-technical roles.

Key job responsibilities
· Define and establish QA methodology for various verticals in Alexa Sensitive content Services.
· Develop and drive QA strategy, Plan and Implementation.
· Build and Drive Test Automation which includes exploring existing Frameworks for Automation OR provide requirements for Framework(s).
· Guide and coach team members for quality driven culture.
· Define Quality Metrics and Implement tools to measure quality health and bring continuous improvements.

A day in the life
You will work closely with product and engineering teams to develop and execute test plans to improve quality of our sensitive contents detection and mitigation capabilities worldwide. You’ll navigate through complex code to better understand features and ensure our software development engineers continue to deliver quality software. You’ll write test strategies, plans and test cases that utilize black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques. You’ll debug complex problems using log files and will own Integration tests, load test and other automation with Java and other modern languages.
