DESCRIPTION

The Principle Product Manager for Seller Experience (SX) will act as a virtual, cross-functional leader responsible for orchestrating and accelerating improvements across the end-to-end SX in Japan. Although key SX levers such as Seller Registration, Listing, Brand Registry, Enforcement, and Seller Support are owned by separate teams, this role will serve as the integrating mechanism across those different teams, developing unified tracking, facilitating stakeholder alignment, and driving scalable improvement initiatives across the 3P business.
The role reports into the 3P Paid Services organization, which manages strategic Sellers, offering faster access to real-time Seller feedback. This proximity positions the role to lead a data driven VoS mechanism, surface deep insights, and launch high-impact pilots, first within Paid Sellers, then scaled to the broader 3P Seller base.

Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and Own a Unified SX Dashboard:
Create and maintain a comprehensive dashboard covering key SX KPIs. Segment metrics across Paid vs. Non-Paid, Business Owner vs. Reseller, and Product Family dimensions. Incorporate AI capabilities to surface trends, outliers, and emerging issues.

2. Lead Voice of Seller (VoS) Program:
Build a structured VoS system that consolidates inputs from surveys, case data, escalation logs, and Account Manager insights. Leverage AI tools to convert unstructured feedback into clear, prioritized themes. Use high-touch engagement with Paid Sellers to generate rich, timely feedback loops.

Launch and lead a recurring cross-functional SX review forum including PMs from Registration, Listing, Enforcement, SPS, and more. Drive alignment on top priorities using VoS and dashboard insights. Track issue resolution and ensure progress is reviewed consistently with defined owners and timelines.

4. Design, Pilot, and Scale SX Improvements:
Partner with relevant PMs and Account Managers to develop and test targeted CX initiatives for Paid Sellers. Track impact using data and Seller sentiment, and set best practices. Lead structured efforts to scale successful interventions across the entire 3P Seller base.

5. Lead Global SX Collaboration:
Represent Amazon Japan in global SX working groups, strategy meetings, and best practice forums, together with each lever PMs. Localize global mechanisms to fit JP’s market context. Export JP-developed innovations to other locales.
