The Communications & Technology Sourcing team is looking for a Technology Billing Program Manager to create and implement a global strategy for managing the vendor invoice to payment lifecycle for network infrastructure, low voltage cabling and data/voice circuits installed around the world. In this role, you will manage both automated and manual mechanisms for invoice and Purchase Order (PO) reconciliation, spend forecasting and expense management including, but not limited to, vendor setup, adherence to invoice quality standards and handling first-level escalations. This role will own all billing data, develop a global billing strategy along with standard operating procedures and metrics, and act as the team’s operational interface with the vendor on billing issues. This role will require regular engagement and alignment with business operations, finance, accounts payable, tax, telecom/infrastructure teams and external partners.
This role requires a self-directed innovator accustomed to working in new territory, a communicator with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders to action, as well as a problem solver who can drive immediate resolutions with a mind toward long-term scalability. The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational and project management skills to develop and drive a broad and detailed roadmap of projects, programs and initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to business and leadership. The candidate will need to apply their experience and knowledge of billing systems, technologies and functions to create or outsource an expense management system. Key job responsibilities
• Migration – Migrate existing payment processing into third party tool Calero.
• Reporting – Recommend, create, maintain and audit reporting in support of performance metrics, workflow reporting, dashboards and ad hoc project support.
• Drive On-Time Payments – Provide ongoing support in ensuring timely vendor payments by reviewing & approving invoices, avoidance of late fees, dispute resolution, prompt acceptance of credits and expense monitoring
• Advocate for Efficient Processes – Explore and initiate internal development or third-party sourcing of a telecom expense management platform. Create, implement and drive cross-functional processes, changes and training to improve organizational efficiencies, quality and turnaround time. Lead initiatives in cost control and process efficiency. Support business needs by managing synchronicity between tools, inventory, resources and processes.
• Ensure Data Accuracy – Provide customers across the organization with relevant and accurate data to drive business decisions bases on real-time dashboard data, reports and metrics through data audits, inventory validation and data integrity.
• Controllership of Networking Spend – Optimize cost efficiency of the business by reviewing and understanding service level agreements (SLA), keeping vendors aligned to contractual rates, working with operations teams to raise SLA credit requests and track through credit recovery. Manage contract terms, renewals and PO reconciliation.
• Maintain Accountability – Influence others and hold responsible individuals accountable for issue resolution. Address barriers through problem solving, communication and active coordination with stakeholders. Know when to involve the appropriate business partners, when to escalate and who to engage for effective resolution.

About the team
The Communications & Technology Sourcing (CTS) team designs & orders Internet connectivity for all Corporate, Customer Service, and Subsidiary locations around the world. It negotiates service agreements, hosts business reviews, and manages/develops relationships with Telecom and Low Voltage Cabling (LVC) vendors. It procures all network hardware supporting IT Services deployment and life cycle replacement projects.
