This role will support in the development of world class procurement processes, tooling, and data reporting that supports the construction procurement activities that help deliver new AWS data centers.

We are seeking an analytical, technically proficient, innovative, hands-on, and customer-focused Program Manager to join our dynamic, fast-paced team. The ideal candidate excels in a high-speed environment, enjoys working with large amounts of data, welcomes the challenge of highly complex and often ambiguous business contexts, and is passionate about data, analytics, and process. This role will play a critical part in helping our customers, partners, and our own team achieve challenging objectives by providing focused and actionable insights.

Key job responsibilities
- Create robust metrics and accountability mechanisms for internal process excellence and external supplier performance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement approaches with business objectives
- Deliver reporting and tooling that enhances procurement decision making efficiency and effectiveness
- Inspect the procurement processes within the team to identify, document, and standardize around best practices
- Engage with technical experts and key stakeholders to initiate new programs, including developing new processes and program documentation.
- Identify process and communications gaps, while developing and driving solutions.
- Develop and maintain lessons learned and establish mechanisms to share this with teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders on key program initiatives to develop and implement procedures and systems that continually improve and streamline the program.
- Drive simplification and automation to evolve processes, services, and solutions, to increase agility and efficiencies and lower costs.
- Establish a metrics-driven, programmatic approach to strategic initiatives to develop improvements and efficiencies.
- Gather, define, refine, and drive requirements for program process, standards, and system Implementation requirements needed to monitor & report on construction programs across multiple geographic regions with little or no direction from management.
- Define & evaluate KPIs derived from program milestone, estimate, spend forecast, and cost/resource loaded schedule performance.

You'll engage with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and develop processes and deliver tools and mechanisms that drive operational excellence. Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers.
