We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join Amazon Leo team, working on our ambitious satellite internet constellation that will provide fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. This role requires a strong foundation in production software development, database architecture, and machine learning technologies.
Key job responsibilities
- Participate in the full life-cycle of development of SW- including concept, design, architecture, development, unit/subsystem/integrated test, deployment and maintenance.
- Work closely with hardware and systems engineers to support board-bring up, manufacturing, integration, debug/test, and design.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to validate manufacturing processes and ensure product quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions in real-time manufacturing environments
- Create and maintain technical documentation including software specifications, test procedures, and manufacturing process guidelines
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines for manufacturing software releases across multiple production facilities
- Develop diagnostic tools and utilities to facilitate rapid troubleshooting and reduce downtime in manufacturing operations
