We are the funnel through which all software vulnerability intelligence flows into AWS. We share knowledge of the fleet's security posture with AVM Security partners. We enable our partners to make informed decisions when prioritizing remediation work to help builders remedy identified software vulnerabilities within SLA. We define the vulnerability lifecycle as being circular rather than linear in nature and the AVM Assessments team is the first and last link in that circular chain. We are dedicated to safeguarding the security and integrity of AWS's infrastructure and software.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
A day in the life
You will be joining the AWS Vulnerability Management (AVM) team, focusing on building tooling and automations to support how we measure and evaluate risk across the entirety of the AWS fleet.
