Key job responsibilities
As a Chip Design Engineer at Annapurna Labs (AWS), you’ll take ownership of real design blocks and drive their development through the full hardware lifecycle. Your responsibilities may include:
* Lead microarchitecture definition and implement logic blocks and data paths
* RTL coding and debug using SystemVerilog and industry-standard tools
* Drive synthesis, timing analysis, and timing-closure activities to achieve high-performance, timing-clean designs
* Oversee design reviews, sign-off processes, and tapeout preparation
* Partner with Verification and Emulation teams on test plans, coverage reviews, and debug
* Ensure quality and reliability validation, meeting AWS’s rigorous hardware standards
* Cross-functional collaboration with Product Definition, Verification, Software, and Physical Design teams
* Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple projects
You’ll own multiple stages of the chip development cycle - from architecture and coding to validation and production - while delivering hardware deployed at massive scale across the world’s largest cloud.
