Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented experienced analyst to join the Tax Engine Operations team in Bratislava, as part of the Global Tax Engine team. This role supports the customer and seller experience across Amazon’s global marketplaces, with a specialized focus on indirect tax calculation.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and a passion for solving complex problems. You will collaborate with global stakeholders across Tax, Product, Tech, Retail and Amazon Business teams by advocating on behalf of customers and sellers, resolving contacts related to tax calculation and strengthening Amazon’s customer-centric culture.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 3,167 gross per month. The salary depends on the skills and requirements. There may be additional pay components such as sign-on bonuses and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinics, life insurance, retirement pensions, meal voucher card, and career development.
Key job responsibilities
Translate customer pain points into actionable requirements for technical teams.
Own end-to-end planning and execution of multiple complex content improvement projects simultaneously, delivering measurable impact on quality, accuracy, and efficiency metrics.
Define success metrics and track performance improvements across content quality, process efficiency, and strategic outcomes; establish baselines and demonstrate continuous improvement.
Navigate ambiguous problem spaces by translating vague requirements into clear execution plans, making data-driven decisions with incomplete information, and adapting strategies as circumstances evolve.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across concurrent workstreams; anticipate downstream impacts and build contingency plans to mitigate potential blockers.
Challenge existing processes and drive strategic improvements that scale beyond immediate project scope, demonstrating thought leadership in content operations.
Communicate effectively across stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and aligning multiple teams on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
Exercise high autonomy in prioritization, decision-making, and problem-solving with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with broader organizational goals.
