Description

- Execute Wi-Fi validation across 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz bands and Wi-Fi 8, including transmitter measurements (SISO, MIMO, OFDMA), emissions, PSD, OTA throughput, sensitivity, and Rate-vs-Range testing.


- Perform Wi-Fi and BLE impedance validation and optimization; conduct RF coexistence testing across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and LTE, including RF surveys, RSSI tuning, and noise-floor calibration.


- Lead onsite RF validation testing with contract manufacturers, combining hands-on RF validation with ownership of schedules, issue tracking, and cross-functional communication; international travel required.


- Develop RF test plans, procedures and Test SOPs production-ready setups. Partner with Wi-Fi development, hardware, and systems teams to develop RF test setups.Provide RF guidance in design reviews across the product lifecycle.


- Collaborate cross-functionally with EE, manufacturing, and antenna teams to support PCBA rework, post-rework validation, and antenna tuning using S-parameter measurements.


- Independently Operate RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator) and Wi-Fi test platforms (e.g., IQxel-MW).


- Support failure triage, including root-cause analysis, test log collection, and development and execution of Design of Experiments (DOEs)..


- Support power and signal integrity testing, including voltage and current measurements, DC-DC protection, over-current events, power-on sequencing, thermal shutdown, and PoE validation.


- Support Validate board communication and memory interfaces to ensure proper signal integrity. Perform full-system stress testing under varying power and temperature conditions to validate overall system performance.

Key job responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive Wi-Fi performance characterization across 2.4/5/6 GHz bands and Wi-Fi 8 standards.
- Independently operate RF test equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and Wi-Fi test platforms (e.g., IQxel-MW).

- Plan, lead, and coordinate onsite RF validation testing with contract manufacturers, managing test schedules, issue tracking, and cross-functional communication.

- Perform end-to-end issue resolution, including failure triage, root-cause analysis, patch validation, Jira ticket management, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Support power integrity testing including voltage/consumption measurements, DC-DC validation, over-current protection, power sequencing, thermal shutdown, and PoE testing.
