Lead industrial design strategy for Amazon's Personal Robotics Group, shaping the future of human-robot hardware experiences. Partnering directly with Director+ leadership, you'll set new vision and standards for how people connect with robotic technology in their daily lives.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive design excellence from concept to launch, working within a multi-disciplinary team of UX researchers, designers, product managers, engineers, and scientists to develop product experiences and functional prototypes
• Establish design frameworks and lead design reviews that incorporate market analysis, customer feedback, and human-robot interaction insights to ensure cohesive experiences across physical and digital touchpoints
• Create designs using 2D, 3D, and AI tools that balance safety, product appeal, functionality, and manufacturability, while influencing architecture decisions to optimize physical design within technical constraints
• Oversee design and fabrication of compelling prototypes for executive review, collaborating with hardware and software teams to push boundaries and achieve world-class design
• Partner with external agencies and vendors by writing design briefs, guiding efforts, and managing deliverables that meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets

As a Principal Industrial Designer in AI and Robotics, you'll work at the frontier of human-robot interaction, collaborating with Design and Engineering Leaders, AI and machine learning teams, and Product leaders across Amazon's robotics organization. You'll operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you balance hands-on design work with strategic leadership, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technical capabilities and user-centered design principles.
