At AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), we build and operate the authentication and authorization infrastructure that secures the AWS cloud. Our systems process tens of millions of transactions per second, making it one of the largest distributed systems globally. **Role Overview:**
We're seeking a Software Development Engineer with frontend expertise to develop and enhance user experiences across multiple AWS consoles. In this role, you'll create intuitive, secure, and scalable frontend solutions that help customers manage access across their AWS environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement frontend applications using Java and JavaScript
* Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to build user-friendly security management interfaces
* Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in application performance and security

• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
