The Profitability Science Team in Profit Intelligence is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer Lead who can creatively solve complex business problems with data and metrics. Profit Intelligence (PI) provides accurate, timely, and granular profitability data for Amazon Stores globally, enabling automated systems (like APM, DSI, CIV, Pricing) to make over multiple business decisions daily. Our charter is to ensure our products, Historical Contribution Profit (HCP) and Forward-Looking CP (FLCP), correctly reflect historical unit level economics and forecasted economics.
In this role you will be responsible for solving complex and ambiguous business questions using data and metric expertise. You will partner closely with Applied Scientists, Economists, Product Managers, to deliver business outcomes. You will influence business-critical questions across multiple organizations and geographies. You should have a track record of end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. You should be able to work on complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customers.
