Position: Network Dev Engineer II (multiple positions available)
Location: Seattle, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Lead network projects in the areas of network sustaining engineering, network deployment/implementation, network scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or network optimization.
2. Create and implement changes on the network.
3. Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues; including necessary low level application interaction, Unix systems, and new age networking software tools. Provide critical network operations support to AWS internal and external customers to diagnose, remediate and trouble shoot large-scale networking events.
4. Support and maintain our next generation data-center networks.
5. Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes to mitigate complex issues.
6. Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues with a focus on removing manual actions from mitigation activities.
7. Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
8. Complete customer requests via internal trouble ticketing systems.
9. Additional Responsibilities: Identify and take ownership for opportunities to automate repeatable networking tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools and enhancements of existing workflows. Mentor junior staff in basic network administration and help to structure relevant training plans.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $ 138,986/year to $ 184,000/year)
