You simply use a credit card to enter the store, take what you want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and leave the store. This checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology, which automatically detects whether products are taken or returned, and enables shoppers to grab and go from stores ranging from small airport kiosks to massive university stores.
The Data Services team, within JWO, owns two interconnected systems: (a) Data Platform, responsible for ingesting, aggregating, and persisting datasets generated by JWO services at scale, and (b) Data Engineering systems that enable reporting, analytics, and Business Intelligence use cases. Collectively, we enable business-critical merchant reporting (sales, refunds, catalog, payments), internal dashboards (accuracy, weekly and monthly management reports, supply chain, customer support, and store bring-up) and external integrations (ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Order Management).
This Senior Product Manager. Tech, will own the vision for merchant /retail analytics and data reporting. You will define the product roadmap for data analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision making. You will evaluate emerging technologies and data science techniques to expand analytical capabilities and unlock new use cases. This role will be responsible for working with Enterprise Customers, Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams drive the long term data services vision for our JWO store portfolio.
As a tenured Product Manager, you are familiar with the product development lifecycle. You exhibit high proficiency and efficacy in core product management disciplines such as defining user stories, priorities, success metrics, presenting vision that works backwards from customers, and are comfortable driving clarity across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. A successful candidate will combine an ability to Think Big with keen attention to detail. We are looking for a passionate, data-driven decision maker who likes building from scratch, and setting high standards. You have a high degree of ownership, and are an excellent written and verbal communicator, who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Ideate and develop innovative approaches to leverage JWO operational data for actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve service delivery
- Partner with stakeholders to identify data patterns and trends that reveal opportunities for operational efficiency and customer experience improvements
- Lead development of comprehensive analytics and reporting capabilities, enabling merchants to make data-driven decisions about inventory, pricing, promotions, and customer loyalty programs
- Define the product roadmap for data analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision making
- Define and track key business operations metrics including catalog accuracy, promotion effectiveness, loyalty program engagement, and merchant satisfaction to drive continuous improvement

This role will interface globally with customers, and JWO teams in Seattle, Washington, and Bengalaru, India.
