Principal Product Manager, Selling Partner Financial Technology
Amazon
Accounting & Finance, Product, IT
Seattle, WA, USA
Description
Amazon's Worldwide Vendor Experience team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to define and lead the next generation of experiences for the hundreds of thousands of vendors who power Amazon's retail business globally. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of retail strategy, product development, and Agentic AI — shaping how vendors discover, manage, and grow their business on Amazon at scale.
You will own the product vision and roadmap for the core experiences that enable Vendors to do business with Amazon, working backwards from the needs of vendors across every category, geography, and business model. You will partner deeply with cross-functional teams spanning Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, Tech, and Operations to drive alignment and deliver experiences that are intuitive, intelligent, and transformative.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product vision for worldwide vendor experience, including vendor portals, dashboards, and self-service tools used by vendors across all Amazon retail marketplaces globally.
- Obsess over vendor and customer experience — conduct deep discovery through data analysis, usability studies, and direct vendor engagement to identify friction points and unmet needs.
- Drive the Agentic AI strategy for vendor experience — define and champion the roadmap for next-generation autonomous and semi-autonomous AI experiences
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Retail Category teams, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to prioritize, scope, and deliver high-impact product initiatives.
- Define and track success metrics — establish clear KPIs for satisfaction, Cost-to-Serve, and vendor experience; use data to continuously iterate and improve.
- Influence senior leadership — write compelling narratives, present to VPs and Directors, and earn trust through rigorous thinking and clear communication.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and make trade-offs — balance vendor needs, technical constraints, and business priorities to deliver results on time and at scale.
- Stay ahead of the curve on AI/ML capabilities, agentic systems, and e-commerce trends to ensure Amazon remains the best place for vendors to build and grow their business.
A day in the life
You'll start your morning reviewing vendor feedback signals and diving deep into a usability issue surfaced by the vendor team. By midday, you're in a working session with product and engineering teams to conceptualize a workflow that automates vendor replenishment recommendations. In the afternoon, you're presenting a product strategy doc to senior leadership, making the case for a multi-year investment in AI-powered vendor self-service. No two days are the same — and that's exactly the point.

The WW Vendor Experience team drives Vendor experience by influencing product roadmap across multiple VP organizations.
