RoW FP&A centrally support Planning, Reporting, Capex and Headcount related activities within our operations across multiple lane of business. Our finance team closely partners to support this rapidly expanding business while supporting key leaders and finance stakeholders. The RoW FP&A team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the Standardization & Automation (S&A) team in designing and automating end-to-end FP&A data pipelines, driving efficiency and scalability across 11 RoW markets. The role will lead the development of Agentic AI solutions to transform financial planning processes, enabling intelligent, self-driven workflows that reduce manual effort while preserving country-specific nuances. Additionally, the analyst will support core Planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, serving as a key bridge between finance and technology teams. This role partners closely with a broad range of finance and operations leaders across regions and countries, driving cost improvement initiatives and shaping planning strategy through deep collaboration with teams including WW FP&A, Country FP&A, Planning, Reporting, Standardization, Automation, and Stores FP&A. The analyst designs, develops, and maintains robust performance measurement frameworks and reporting on strategic input drivers, delivering actionable insights that continuously improve business economics. By translating complex financial data into clear, forward-looking narratives, this role serves as a critical connector between global strategy and local execution.
The successful candidate has demonstrated the following abilities: Ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment, and collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon through excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key job responsibilities
Identifies basic control risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate gaps.
Delivers weekly/monthly financial close. Uses financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets. Outputs plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
Works with a variety of data sources. Identifies incomplete or inaccurate data, identifies root causes of data issues, escalates discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a solution.
Uses active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjusts style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
Identifies and implements solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.
