Description
Are you passionate about understanding customers and want to help deliver high-quality research? Join Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) team and play a critical role in making research accessible and actionable! As a Research Program Manager supporting both Consumer Insights and User Experience Research teams within WWGS, you'll ensure our research is well-organized, easily discoverable, and effectively communicated across the organization. You'll gain exposure to research methodologies across two complementary disciplines while building the infrastructure that enables great research programs.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the strategic development and optimization of the centralized research knowledge repository and Airtable project management system, implementing scalable processes and governance frameworks that enable efficient insight discovery and project tracking across the team
- Serve as primary point of contact for performance tracker, maintaining consolidated CSAT dashboards, triaging requests, and routing complex projects to senior researchers
- Partner with senior researchers to conduct knowledge reviews for stakeholders by synthesizing insights from the research repository and syndicated studies, delivering comprehensive summaries that answer business questions and identify relevant past research to reduce redundant research requests
- Design and maintain standardized research templates, best practice guides, and process documentation that ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across team deliverables
- Lead outbound tracker recruitment campaigns, monitoring campaign performance and troubleshooting issues with partner teams to ensure consistent customer feedback collection
- Partner with third-party research vendors to manage project timelines, ensure deliverable quality, and coordinate learning events
- Collaborate with senior researchers to optimize AI-powered tools and integrations, identifying opportunities to improve document retrieval and implementing enhancements that accelerate insight generation
A day in the life
Your day includes optimizing the research repository architecture to improve discoverability, maintaining the Airtable project management tool, and building executive-ready dashboards that visualize CSAT and Brand Tracker data. You'll collaborate with senior researchers to enhance AI-powered tools—identifying opportunities to improve how systems retrieve documents and implementing enhancements that accelerate insight generation. You'll coordinate logistics for upcoming studies—from vendor timelines to recruitment campaigns—while navigating survey platforms to access data for analysis and accessing data from syndicated research tools to help create more holistic insights for knowledge reviews. Throughout the day, you're maintaining wiki documentation on research processes while building the operational infrastructure that makes research accessible and actionable across WWGS.
