Description
Amazon is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst based in Bangalore, IN. Our team runs an innovative global project that drives Amazon Stores strategic decisions, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience through research methodologies and purpose-built software solutions.
The Accounting Analyst will be hands-on and have an entrepreneurial spirit / start-up mindset as they support the operational accounting of a global team, which includes day-to-day management of financial accounts, accounts payable support, and annual audit support. They will prepare key metrics and weekly, monthly, quarterly finance reporting as well as support processes for analyzing performance to understand business variations.

- Have experience in Oracle and other accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks
- Have in-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP and IND_AS
- Basic level understanding of tax laws

Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support accounting operations, including month end close processes, day-to-day management of financial accounts, accounts payable support, and annual audit support for multiple entities around the world
- Recording and cleaning up Excel data, performing a wide range of data collection, data entry, and data processing related tasks
- Support ongoing finance reporting, analysis, and forecasting
- Assist in improving processes across all entities
- Work with other teams to ensure our financial reporting is in sync with other systems
- Support tax teams by providing audited FS, other documents for tax compliance
