Marketing is one of the most direct levers for seller growth, and it is changing faster than ever. Generative AI is reshaping how marketers plan campaigns, create content, and engage sellers, and the products built today will define how marketing teams operate for years to come.

In this role, you will serve as a Senior Product Manager on Amazon Japan's Productivity team. You will work closely with the Japan marketing team, your primary customer, to develop a deep understanding of how they operate, where their highest-value priorities lie, and what stands in the way of doing their best work. That understanding becomes the foundation for every product decision you make. You will identify where technology can deliver the greatest impact, and build the tools and solutions that allow marketers to focus their energy where it matters most.

You will partner with global product teams to ensure Japan's needs are reflected in the broader roadmap, while driving local execution that makes an immediate difference to how the marketing team operates.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of the Japan marketing team's goals, workflows, and priorities; translate that understanding into product decisions that help marketers focus on their highest-value work
• Own the product strategy and roadmap for marketing productivity products in Japan, with a view toward how AI and automation will reshape marketing operations over time
• Identify where technology can deliver the greatest impact; prioritize product improvements and new feature development accordingly
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Japan marketing team and global product teams, ensuring Japan-specific requirements are reflected in the global roadmap
• Design and track key metrics (adoption, engagement, business impact) and present data-driven updates to senior leadership on a regular cadence
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science teams to drive end-to-end product delivery
• Identify and execute opportunities to leverage generative AI and automation to help marketers work faster and make better decisions
• Contribute to long-range business planning by defining the vision and investment strategy for the marketing productivity domain
