Description

The Amazon Marketplace gives millions of Selling Partners the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon's reach and expertise. In the EU, an unprecedented wave of tax and VAT legislation is reshaping the selling landscape — increasing compliance complexity and making it a primary barrier to Seller growth in the region.
As a Senior Product Manager on the EU 3P Compliance team, you will own the end-to-end product strategy for Tax Compliance — ensuring Amazon and its Selling Partners meet Tax/VAT regulatory obligations across EU marketplaces. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role driving product strategy across a complex, multi-system landscape — where regulatory compliance and Selling Partner experience are equally non-negotiable.

You will define and drive the vision for a scalable, configurable Tax Compliance product that serves as the foundation for any tax regulation or policy implementation — and eventually broader compliance domains. The goal: ensure Amazon's compliance with regulatory requirements, enable a frictionless Seller experience, and continuously optimize cost-to-serve and speed of compliance delivery.
You sit at the center of a multi-team architecture — directly owning the roadmap for a dedicated core tech team, while influencing 3–4 partner teams spanning multiple VP orgs whose systems must integrate to deliver a coherent end-to-end compliance solution. This means setting strategy at and shaping the fundamental product primitives that power compliance decisions, while ensuring 100% accuracy in regulatory outcomes.
You will work across engineering, tax, legal, policy, business, and operations teams — translating regulatory requirements into elegant technical solutions, driving alignment across organizations that don't share a reporting line, and making hard prioritization calls in a fast-moving regulatory environment.
You thrive in ambiguity and find energy in complexity. You see a tangled multi-team dependency map as a design problem worth solving — and you have a track record of delivering large-scale product initiatives with elegant, simple solutions. High judgment, the ability to influence without authority, and a bias for action are essential to success in this role.
