About the Role

We're looking for an SDM to own and grow one of our Promotions and Deals Frontend teams. You'll lead a team of ~8-10 SDEs building systems that process billions of pricing and promotions signals daily, powering the deal and coupon experiences customers see across Amazon's retail surfaces.

What You'll Do

- Own the technical roadmap, delivery, and operational excellence for your team's services
- Drive Prime Day and peak-event readiness — your systems are on the critical path for every major sale event
- Partner with senior engineers to reduce latency, improve scalability, and harden service architecture
- Manage hiring, development, and retention for your team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail Pricing, Deals, Coupons, and CX teams to align on platform strategy
- Reduce operational toil through automation, better tooling, and self-service capabilities
