RDPI's Strategy & Operations (S&O) team is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Sourcing Manager to support our vendor and procurement operations across North America. This role is responsible for executing sourcing and procurement workflows that support the deployment of Amazon's robotics and packaging technologies through 3P integrator engagement. You will work within defined processes and strategies, contributing to vendor management activities, cost analysis, and procurement execution that keep our deployment programs on track.

This position requires up to 25% travel (domestic).

Key job responsibilities
- Execute the full Request for Quote (RFQ) process, including supporting Statement of Work (SOW) development in collaboration with stakeholders and assisting with bid evaluation and award
- Maintain and update procurement records, trackers, and workflow tools to ensure accurate documentation of day-to-day sourcing activities
- Support cost analysis activities, including gathering and organizing vendor pricing data to inform negotiation and base management strategies
- Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and FAQs for sourcing and vendor management processes; ensure documentation is current and accessible
- Support vendor performance tracking by maintaining vendor data and contributing to KPI and metrics reporting
- Assist in resolving routine vendor issues, including price disputes and contract order tracking, escalating complex issues as appropriate
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand deployment requirements and ensure vendor activities align with program needs
- Identify and flag risks and deviations in vendor performance or procurement workflows; escalate roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by refining existing processes and supporting operational excellence initiatives


A day in the life
As a Sourcing Manager on the Vendor Strategy & Management team, your day centers on keeping our sourcing workflows running smoothly. You'll maintain procurement records, support RFQ execution, and help track vendor performance against defined metrics. You'll collaborate with deployment teams to understand their needs, assist in preparing cost analyses, and ensure SOPs reflect current processes. Whether you're updating a vendor tracker, supporting a bid evaluation, or helping resolve a pricing discrepancy, your attention to detail and follow-through directly support Amazon's ability to deploy robotics technology at scale.

About the team
S&O's Vendor Strategy & Management service formalizes external and internal partner engagement to drive safe, lean, efficient third-party vendor operations for technology deployment projects. Our Vendor Lifecycle Management (VLM) process systematically manages the entire vendor relationship, from selection and onboarding to performance monitoring, compliance management, and offboarding. By using quantifiable criteria, we ensure unbiased business award decisions and effective vendor management to control costs, mitigate risks, and build sustainable partnerships.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience as procurement/purchasing analyst, or other operational role within a procurement organization
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 1+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience in a procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding
- Experience with financial contracts and are comfortable with contractual language
- Experience navigating a knowledge base and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience with data querying or modeling with SQL
- Experience communicating research findings and analysis in both written and spoken channels
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
