Role Description
The Associate Product Designer creates user - centered experiences and interfaces for products and solutions which improves end-to-end user journeys. As this Associate Product Designer you will support our digital data and platform tools, work on the product experiences that colleagues across Amex use to store, access and analyse our customer data. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver best-in-class UX artifacts to assist in the creation and optimisation of our tools. You’ll also have the support of your design leader and a wide community of designers with a goal to continuously develop our craft and share learnings with one another. This role will report to the Manager of Product Design.

Role Description
The Associate Product Designer creates user - centered experiences and interfaces for products and solutions which improves end-to-end user journeys. As this Associate Product Designer you will support our digital data and platform tools, work on the product experiences that colleagues across Amex use to store, access and analyse our customer data. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver best-in-class UX artifacts to assist in the creation and optimisation of our tools. This role will report to the Manager of Product Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Build visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for our digital products, considering usability and user-centered design principles
- Develops familiarity with problem-identifying methodologies, research and processes
- Participates in design presentations and provides support for internal presentation delivery
- Conducts and analyses user research, capture feedback, and build wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to ensure efficient user experiences
- Collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to gather requirements, provide design insights and ensure design consistency across platforms and devices

- At least 1 year of experience working in a product design organisation or partnering directly with designers in such an organisation
- You have familiarity with user- centered design methodologies, research, and processes
- You can drive collaboration among partners and teams
- Being proactive and able to take problem solving initiative
- Strong in written and verbal communication and able to document and share processes and activities in an engaging way
