The role requires a self-motivated individual who will thrive on the challenge of ambiguity, cross collaboration and creation of strategic communication materials help drive projects/process and create visibility/ awareness.

  • The person shall be responsible for managing Invoice Processing for US region.
  • Manage the invoice processing area as and when required. Keeping track of regular & urgent invoices for on time payments and support the business in manual payments if required
  • Support day to day liaison around operational requirements with different stakeholders and customers like rush requests from SVP+ offices.
  • The person will be expected to gain detailed understanding of the end to end process, inherent controls & risk, and Metrics of the process area.
  • The person will be responsible for operational delivery for the team across all 3 constituencies of Customer, Shareholder and Employee.
  • Proactive anticipation of potential issues and control deficiencies, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate mitigating action plan.
  • Drives results cross functionally, cross business units and across the Blue Box that have a major impact on driving process efficiencies across the P2P Operations domain.
  • Is able and has the gravitas to interact at all levels of management to support resolution of complex business issues
  • Support Internal / regulatory audits by providing the detailed documentation specified by the audit team for their area of work
  • Manage critical business relationship & engage stakeholders including Compliance, Tax, Controllership, Capabilities, B2B etc
  • Maintain and promote the Blue Box Values by ensuring that work is completed to the highest professional and regulatory standards.
  • Lead/Support various automation initiatives / projects with a single focus to bring efficiency in the process thereby reducing manual touchpoints.
  • Ensure process health through metrics-based governance – maintaining integrity of the financial statements
  • Highly accountable with a strategic mind-set, demonstrating end to end ownership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation/post-graduation in Accounting with minimum 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in handling Accounts payable process.
  • Experience of leading a diverse team of 10 team members is required.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint, Familiar with procure to pay process flow.
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to meet deadlines, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Eye for detail, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proven People leadership skills and the ability to assess, develop, retain and nurture talent.
  • Ability to drive team cohesiveness, collaboration and cooperation within team and cross functionally in a multi-cultural environment.
