As a key link in the product development process no two days here will be the same, but there are some things you can count on doing: - Work with customers, key stakeholders, and partners to define a product vision and roadmap - Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into product roadmap and requirements - Support development of appropriate tracking and reporting to determine product performance - Work closely with the design and technology teams to develop, test and deliver defined capabilities.
This role is part of a dynamic product team within technology and reports into the Director, Digital Product Management. You will work with Product and Engineering teams to define and document requirements that support the product vision, strategy and implementation and the needs of the Enterprise.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Identify, capture, and refine requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases for the product while enhancing user experience partnering continuously with Engineering.
- Conduct research to generate insights, ideation and opportunities for continual iterative product design.
- Refine, manage, prioritize and drive the backlog within the Agile processes, procedures and ceremonies supporting Software Development Life Cycle.
- Deliver on Product Roadmap incorporating thorough planning for all deliverables and milestones across Program Increments.
- Participate and support cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Engineering.
- Convey vision effectively within immediate scrum team and across product team to drive buy-in.
- Communicate feature progress and any watchouts, risks, issues to leadership, stakeholders and users appropriately.
- Develop product related documentation, launch announcements and training materials.
- Leverage analytics and data to identify insights, trends and drive recommendations for optimization and future opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or 1 – 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive results and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation.
- Experience developing and managing relationships.
- Proven ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to demonstrate analytical skills, comfortable with analyzing data to draw insights to inform business strategy.
- Attention to detail and unrelenting focus on quality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; emphasis on proposal development and the creation/delivery of effective presentations.
- Demonstrated managing multiple projects, attention to detail and prioritization skills in a demanding environment.
- Proven ability to lead change and set priorities, with capacity to be flexible and adapt with new opportunities.
- Strong team player with proven ability to build relationships across the Blue Box to accomplish goals.
- Must be a strongly proficient Excel and Power Point and be comfortable with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scaled Agile Product Owner / Product Manger certification is an asset.
