How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
Job Description:
- This role is a part of Card & Merchant Accounting and Controls (CMAC) team within Global Record to Report Organization (GR2R) in Controllership.
- The incumbent will be required to perform monthly accounting which will include booking Client Incentive accruals & payment accounting, sub ledger reconciliation & Clearance of ageing items, Month/Year End closures etc.
- The incumbent will be required to raise Invoices related to AEXP Bank/Network partner along with adequacy on quarterly basis followed by accounting.
- The incumbent will be required to manage Partner Pricing & Incentive Invoicing common mailbox on daily basis.
- The incumbent shall be required to maintain close contact with customers /LFO’s/ business partners.
- Collaborate with Control and Compliance, SOX and Operational Risk teams on relevant initiatives and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all prevalent procedures and policies linked to the process. Besides the above, the position will work closely with Incentive COE leadership and be a part of the coordination and implementation of initiatives around operational transformation, data integrity and customer priorities.
- Support standardization & automation projects.
- Strong inter-personal skills and communication skills.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills. Should possess good analytical skills.
- The successful candidate should be flexible & result oriented.
- Good Understanding of AMEX businesses, AMEX Finance products and systems such as Oracle/Axiom etc. will be a plus.
Minimum Qualifications

- MBA / Post Graduate with at least 1 years of experience or B Com with 2-3 years of experience.
- Strong accounting & reconciliation knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously & prioritize accordingly.
- Willing to work in any shift preferably Afternoon.
- Excellent follow-up and detail oriented, using Excel, a plus.
- Good communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills partners/customers, etc.
- Demonstrated leadership skills needed to interact with leadership.
- Should not be currently on a staging post assignment.
- Should have a minimum of eighteen months tenure in current role level/position as on the date of application deadline.
