The Global Risk & Compliance Group includes Operational Risk, Risk Oversight, Compliance and Global Privacy. These functions provide oversight as well as governance of risks and ensure the company operates in a safe and sound manner within global regulatory expectations.

How will you make an impact in this role?

EMEA Regulatory Compliance Financial Crimes Analyst (RCM/CRA) – EMEA RMLRO Organization

We are looking for a motivated Compliance Analyst with experience in the management and oversight of AML/CTF regulatory change management (“RCM”) and compliance risk assessment (“CRA”) programs, who will be part of the EMEA Regulatory Compliance Financial Crimes team within the EMEA Regional MLRO Organization.

This role will report to the Regulatory Compliance Manager EMEA Financial Crimes (RCM/CRA) and will contribute to workstreams engaging various compliance teams in the EMEA markets and international markets, gaining regular exposure to senior stakeholders across the organization.

As Compliance Analyst, you will support GFCC leaders in the main aspects related to the monitoring and oversight of regulatory changes on FC and key developments across the EMEA Region, preparation of regional impact assessments and tracking of the progresses of the implementation workstreams.

Main Areas of Focus:

  • Horizon scanning: perform proactive mapping (horizon scanning) and preliminary assessment of AML/CTF requirements producing deliverables to be shared with the Regional Stakeholders and Market Stakeholders. Monitor regulatory developments from EBA, ESAs, and other relevant EU bodies, with a focus on AML/CTF regulations and soft law.

  • Regulatory Change Management: perform mapping and preliminary assessment of requirements to understand applicability, and producing deliverables to be socialized as part of the RCM process, including:

  • Requirements mapping and consolidation of the existing AML requirements facilitating the identification of a common approach at EMEA where possible

  • Liaise with market compliance officers’ teams across EMEA Markets to ensure consistent application of compliance frameworks.

  • Support regulatory change management projects, including 2LoD policy updates, and training initiatives.

  • Compliance Risk Assessment: Collaborate with CRA central team with determining the applicability assessment of the regulation to identify any impact to GFCC. Participate on the determination of the inherent risk.

  • Work closely with the GCO, Risk & Control, and Business teams to advise on regulatory news.

  • Support the Regulatory Compliance Manager EMEA Financial Crimes (RCM/CRA) on the assessment of AML/CTF requirements for RCM purposes.

  • Ensure a proper tracking of the Market AML Teams feedback and inputs, facilitating also the harmonization across the countries involved in various projects and initiatives.

  • Prepare and maintain dashboards to keep track of progress made across RCM projects. Draft materials for AML Committee and other Forums on RCM / CRA progresses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, ideally within a payment institution, e-money, or fintech environment.

  • Knowledge of the Regional AML/CFT Framework, including the AML Package, Single Rulebook, EBA guidelines, PSD2, AMLD5/6, and other relevant EU regulatory frameworks.

  • Experience in managing regulatory change across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships, operate in large cross-functional teams, and influence colleagues to drive change.

  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-border teams and manage stakeholders effectively.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with regulatory technology (RegTech) tools.
