Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for small, medium, and large businesses. Within GCS, the mission of the Business Banking Product Management team is to create banking products that are the best choice for our small business customers. We achieve this by being customer and competitor obsessed, delivering market leading value, and creating great experiences for our customers.
The Senior Manager, Account Governance – Business Banking Product Management will be responsible for implementing, executing and supporting initiatives necessary to ensure continued legal and regulatory compliance, as well as adherence to new and evolving enterprise control guidelines. This colleague will play a critical role in driving the sustainable growth of our portfolio by defining and driving product initiatives with heightened regulatory compliance risks and requirements. In addition, this colleague will work cross functionally with several groups, including Business Banking Product Management and Development, Business Operations, Consumer Banking Product Management, Control Management, Legal and Compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enable the scale of our Business Banking products, by strengthening our regulatory foundation and unlocking new opportunities for sustainable growth
- Define, inform and execute Business Banking processes required to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines, such as FDIC and Tax requirements
- Deliver new features, controls and enhancements that have heightened regulatory risk, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Design, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing
- Support new and emerging enterprise control processes by identifying needs, informing approach for Business Banking products and facilitating processes, as needed
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes and drive efficiency, in order for the Business Banking team to maintain agility and drive continued portfolio growth in a controlled and compliant manner
- Gain a deep understanding of our Business Banking products and generate new ideas to improve customer experience and drive growth, with supporting business cases
- Partner with Product Management teams across Consumer Banking and Small Business products, to drive consistency in approach and share best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Banking or Financial Services product management
- Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to build relationships, influence, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Comfort in a fast-paced and high growth environment, flexible, and ability to handle change needed
- Ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving business issues
- Proactive and results-oriented, with strong thought leadership and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively to audiences across various leadership levels
- Customer-focused, with a desire to understand small business owner needs and build best-in-class solutions and customer experiences
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on U.S. Bank Regulatory projects
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
